 ​​Thank you for inquiring about PRIVATE LESSONS. My name is Mark Poole. I am  the Skating Director at Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex.  I’m happy to assist you in finding a suitable coach. 

The Aerodrome offers an impressive list of coaches from young Learn to Skate coaches through to those preparing skaters for national competitions.  All Aerodrome coaches are certified through the United States Figure Skating Association and/or Professional Skaters Association. Many of our Learn to Skate Instructors are currently studying at High School or College and although they are younger, they are fully certified Learn to Skate coaches as set by the United States Figure Skating Association/Learn to Skate USA.   Aerodrome is also home to a mixture of nationally ranked coaches, ex-international competitors and highly ranked and rated coaches.

Coaches who offer private lessons at Aerodrome work as contractors therefore they set their own rates. In general, the most experienced coaches command higher rates whereby the Learn to Skate Instructors offer the best value for beginner skaters. Learn to Skate coaches typically charge $35.00 for a thirty-minute private lesson and our most experienced coaches charging up to $47.00 per 30-minute lesson.  Also please note that coaches private lesson fees are paid directly to them.  It does not include the entry fees to the rink.  For example, if you book a private lesson on Saturday Public Session you would still have to pay for the Public Session and pay your coach for the private lesson)

Private lessons can be a great way to ‘FastTrack’ into the world of ice skating. Aerodrome also offers group classes throughout the week.
