Public Skating
The Aerodrome offers public sessions with approximately 1,000 pairs of skates available for rental.
During the day, public sessions are bright and lively. During the seasonal evening sessions, the lights are dimmed, the music ranges from country to rock to jazz, coupled with a special effects lighting system that brings a party atmosphere to the Aerodrome.
Skating is a lifetime sport that can be continued throughout the adult years. It is enjoyed by most adults because of its cardiovascular workout, many levels of advancement, creative possibilities, and when done correctly - uses the whole body.
Scheduling is flexible and in hot and humid Houston, ice skating is a respite!
Admission
- $11.00 per person
- $10.00 per registered Aerodrome program member
- $6.00 skate rental
- $6.00 walker rental***
- $10.00 Bobby the Seal***
- No charge for ages 2 and under
***Walkers and Bobby the Seal quantities are limited, first come/first served.

- Minimum of 12 persons
- $11.00 per person for groups
- Price includes skate rental
- One person must pay for the entire group; no split payments
- Reservation is not required for groups of 12+ skaters. Just show up and go in the Pro Shop to pay. You will automatically receive the group rate when you pay for 12 or more skaters.

Homeschool Special
- Room rental during public sessions is also available for $75 (+tax) per hour based upon availability and must be booked in advance.
- As part of our Room Rental you will receive access to a private party room, tables, chairs and trash can.
- You are responsible for all set up and clean up.
- Outside food/beverages are NOT ALLOWED except for a birthday cake.
- Food/beverages need to be purchased separately through the Ice Box restaurant.
