2023 Nutcracker on Ice - Featured Skater(s) Requirements 

Featured Skaters Fee: $240 (costume included) 

The featured skater(s) requirements for the 2023 Nutcracker on Ice will be split into 3 categories A, B, & C. We want everyone to love their part, however it is not feasible for all eligible skaters to get a solo and keep our shows running time reasonable.

Featured Parts - Requirements 

1. Category A - All skaters must demonstrate good quality double jumps, variety of spins and quality skating skills. These skaters will be selected first for solo parts. Any remaining solo will be assigned to skaters eligible in category B.

2. Category B - Axel or higher, assigned to solos and duets parts

3. Category C - Freeskate 5 and above, assigned to trios and mini group number,

*  Clara - anyone with an axel can apply. The best skater to fit part based on selection committee will be assigned this part.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

The featured skater’s application will be through a google form which will be sent out via Remind App, by 9pm on Sunday September 3, 2023. This year you will NOT choose parts you want but instead choose the parts that you are NOT willing to accept. Be sure to read each area’s descriptions and all instructions. 

The form must be filled out and submitted by Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, at 9pm.
